Jerilderie Football Netball Club will be holding a goods and services auction on Saturday, July 23 to help raise money to update the electricity capacity at Monash Park.

The end goal for the club will be to install outdoor heaters, which have already been purchased, under the veranda of the clubrooms.

Jerilderie FNC president Dean Knight said the club is looking for support from the community to help improve the comfort of their players and spectators.

“Monash Park is at maximum capacity in terms of power,” Mr Knight said.

“We are holding the auction to hopefully raise as much as possible to go towards the upgrade of the power capacity.”

Mr Knight said there is something for everyone up for offer at the auction.

“There are things like camping supplies up for offer, footy tickets, a couple nights accommodation, tools and plenty more to come,” he said.

Other items include 4 x sides of lambs, 2 x 20kg packs of Prime Grass-fed Angus Beef, Dune Nomad Deluxe XL camping chair, 50 Ha of spraying, 5 trailer loads of fire wood, Demons VIP package for 4 people, Pamper packages, 100mm angle grinder, 125mm angle grinder, box of cutting discs, gift box of wine and pasta, Selecta Weather Station, Demons sports Bag 70cm x 30cm, 1 Day Dry Hire Kanga mini loader, 2 nights’ accommodation at Ashleigh Court Cabins, a BKT mountain bike and more goods being sought.

The auction will start at 7.30pm at the Jerilderie Sports Club.

There will be food and drinks available to purchase, as well as raffles and spinning wheels taking place on the night.
